Nice to have a different style of meeting, over food :-) And I think we entertained Siouxsie with good southern hospitality!

Although we didn't manage to get into detail about what precisely Ken Ring publishes as predictions of earthquakes, we did look at the likelihood that a vague prediction can be "true". And then branched out into behavioral biology and monkey infanticide. Great fun :-)

The videos and discussion that followed were a good idea.

Running a couple of videos was a great way to focus and entertain everyone, so I'll be looking at doing that again! Suggestions for suitable-licensed and accessible content are welcome ;-)

As always - Jim on top form, new people to meet, lots of great conversation. Bonus for me this time, I got the chance to get some invaluable advice, and ask some questions about cell phones ( thank you Katie) and broadband ( thank you Jim)

A good chat and some good quiz questions from Katie -- she chose the IgNobel prizes as a topic, I'd chosen the Nobel!

Yet another fantastic quiz organized by Jim. Have some ideas about future meetings that I will post separately.

It was quite fun. It was my first time but the relaxed atmosphere was great and everyone was open and friendly.

Quiet but a nice catchup. We tried out a possible new feature for the meetings, a short themed quiz; it's not so much the questions as the discussion around the answers.

Although there were only 3 of us, we had a great time! The Tunguska quiz was a great idea.

Interesting to have a themed discussion, even though it's not a core topic we still found plenty to talk about!

Great meet-up... SO much easier to have meaningful conversations without having a baby with me! Pub was nice and quiet tonight, and we had a good number (7?) so that everyone participate in the conversation.
