The earth moved for me.

Although we didn't manage to get into detail about what precisely Ken Ring publishes as predictions of earthquakes, we did look at the likelihood that a vague prediction can be "true". And then branched out into behavioral biology and monkey infanticide. Great fun :-)

The videos and discussion that followed were a good idea. -
Running a couple of videos was a great way to focus and entertain everyone, so I'll be looking at doing that again! Suggestions for suitable-licensed and accessible content are welcome ;-)

Quiet but a nice catchup. We tried out a possible new feature for the meetings, a short themed quiz; it's not so much the questions as the discussion around the answers.

Although there were only 3 of us, we had a great time! The Tunguska quiz was a great idea.

Great meet-up... SO much easier to have meaningful conversations without having a baby with me! Pub was nice and quiet tonight, and we had a good number (7?) so that everyone participate in the conversation.— LoopyNZ
