maybe it's an offence under the Fair Trading Act (false representation) - but you would have to buy them first, & then prove (?) they didn't contain ghosts.

or should it come under the Sale of Goods act?
  • the goods are not fit for their purpose (hmm - if the purpose is to scam the gullible they do the job)
  • you told the seller what you wanted to use the goods for and relied on their knowledge but the goods don't do the job
  • the goods don't match the description
  • the seller did not have the right to sell the goods.

    there is a star at the base of the advert- to report inappropriate behaviour to trademe. I have reported it as 'not within their contract' - it's not appropriate for trade me to list such things- whether a person believes in such spirits or not, either way it shouldn't be encouraged - just as exorcism shouldn't be.
